Oh Hee Joon Joins Cast of ‘The Fiery Priest’ Season 2 as Villainous Cartel Member

Seoul, South Korea – Actor Oh Hee Joon has been confirmed as the latest addition to the cast of The Fiery Priest Season 2, set to premiere on November 8 on SBS. Known for his versatility, Oh will play Yeol Bingeo, a member of a powerful drug cartel in the drama’s latest season, which follows a team of unlikely allies battling crime in Busan.

The announcement, made on November 4, highlights Oh Hee Joon’s busy year in the K-drama industry. The Fiery Priest will mark his fifth project in 2024, following roles in The Auditors, and guest appearances in Good Partner, Red Swan, and Flex X Cop. Oh debuted in 2005 and has since appeared in several popular series, including Moving, Green Mothers’ Club, All of Us Are Dead, and Through the Darkness.

In Season 2, The Fiery Priest will see the return of fiery priest Kim Hae Il, detective Goo Dae Young, and prosecutor Park Kyung Sun. This time, the team heads to Busan to take down a major drug cartel. Kim Nam Gil, Lee Ha Nee, Kim Sung Kyun, Sung Joon, Seo Hyun Woo, and BIBI lead the returning cast, alongside Oh’s new villainous role.

Directed by Park Bo Ram and written by Park Jae Bum, the season reunites the creative team behind the first season. The Fiery Priest Season 2 will run for 12 episodes, airing Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10 PM KST on SBS.
